Spring Hill Daffodil Days About 20 MAPA kids (of all ages) performed for Spring Hill's Daffodil Days on April 25th. They only had 1.5 hours of rehearsal time for this performance and they knocked it out of the park. Thank you to all who volunteered their time and came out to support our MAPA family!
MAPA 2015 summer activities:
Exploring the Literary World through Drama: June 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26 (Ages 7-11) - $50/participant Directed by: Lauren Baxter & Tina Allen
Location: Spring Hill Civic Center
This class will meet MWF from 6:00 - 8:00 pm for two weeks. The final class on Friday, June 26th will be a showcase for parents and friends. Students will play different theatre games, participate in fun movement activities, and engage their imagination while diving deep into their favorite literary pieces. Such literary pieces may include works by Shel Silverstein, Dr. Seuss, and Louisa May Alcott (Little Women.)
Musical Theatre Dance Class:July 8-10, 15-17(Ages 9-13) - $50/participant
Taught by: Val Elazegui (Above the Barre Dance Academy) Location: Spring Hill Civic Center This class will meet for 6 days, from 6-8 pm. A beginner level class that will introduce youth to the elements of musical theatre dance as well as expose your young performer to the history of the genre.
